We don’t always know exactly what goes on in the backseat and sometimes, that’s probably best. 😂

The transformation on this well-loved Graco 4Ever was SO satisfying. From the gunk hiding underneath when we removed the back to the mystery spill on the latch strap, this seat had definitely been through some things. 🫶

BEFORE I BECAME A CPST… 🐝

I did some things as a first-time mom that I now know weren’t the safest choices.

And you know what? I didn’t know.

I was doing what I thought was best. I was reading what I could, listening to people I trusted, and making decisions from a place of SO much love.

Because in all seriousness, we are all living this life for the very first time. There’s no way we’re supposed to know everything from day one. 🤍

So if you’ve ever looked back and thought, “Ohhh… I probably shouldn’t have done that.” Same. I’ve been there too.

That is why this is a judgement-free zone. Always.

My goal isn’t to make you feel bad about what you did before you knew better.
It’s to help you feel confident about what you can do now that you know better.

Because we don’t know everything.
We learn.
We grow.

I DID SOMETHING ABSOLUTELY WILD…

I cleaned MY OWN CAR SEAT. 😂⭐️

Yes, the owner of a car seat cleaning business had a dirty car seat. The irony is not lost on me.

But here’s the thing… I’m a mom too. And somehow, despite cleaning car seats for other people, the crumbs, snack dust, and “what even IS that?” made their way onto my own seat.

Because moms are busy.

We’re packing lunches, answering 47 questions before 8 AM, finding missing shoes, wiping butts, working, cooking, cleaning, chauffeuring, and somehow keeping tiny humans alive.

And sometimes our own stuff gets pushed to the bottom of the list.

So let this be your reminder of TWO things:

🐝 I GET IT.
Whatever condition your car seat, stroller, wagon or anything is in; there is ZERO judgment here. If my own seat can get neglected, yours can too. Bring me the snacks. Bring me the sticky. Bring me the stinky.

🐝 You don’t have to do everything yourself.
Outsourcing isn’t failing. Sometimes it’s the smartest thing you can do with your limited time and energy.

You could spend your evening scrubbing yesterday’s milk spill out of your kid’s seat… Or you could leave it out for me and go sit down for five minutes. 😂
