❌ Myth: You should button every shirt before washing.

✅ Truth: Leave buttons unbuttoned. Fastened buttons can put extra stress on the threads during the wash cycle.

❌ Myth: Zipping zippers protects your clothes.

✅ Truth: It actually does! Closing zippers helps prevent them from snagging delicate fabrics during the wash.

❓ Question: What's one laundry habit your parents taught you that you still do today?

10/13/2026

❌ Myth: Turning clothes inside out doesn't matter.

✅ Truth: Turning clothes inside out helps protect colors, graphics, embroidery, and printed designs from fading and wear.

💡 Laundry Tip: It's especially helpful for graphic tees and jeans.

❌ Myth: You should wash towels after every use.

✅ Truth: Bath towels can usually be used 3–4 times if they're allowed to dry completely between uses.

❓ Question: Team "every use" or team "a few uses"? 🛁

09/28/2026

❌ Myth: Bleach makes every white item brighter.

✅ Truth: Bleach isn't right for every fabric. Some materials can weaken or even turn yellow over time.

💡 Laundry Tip: Always check the care label before reaching for the bleach.

09/21/2026

❌ Myth: Washing machines clean themselves.

✅ Truth: Soap residue, mold, and mildew can build up over time. Running a cleaning cycle every month helps keep your washer fresh.

❓ Question: Be honest... when was the last time you cleaned your washing machine? 😅

09/14/2026

❌ Myth: You should fill the washer as full as possible.

✅ Truth: Overloading prevents clothes from moving freely, so detergent and water can't do their job.

💡 Laundry Tip: Leave about a hand's width of space at the top of the drum for the best results.

❓ Question: Are you guilty of trying to squeeze in "just one more shirt?" 👕😂
