This year we are going to try something new. We will be offering annual house inspections. With the amount of water we have gotten and the storms already this year, we thought this would help homeowners get some piece of mind. How it will work is we will do full home and specific inspections upon request. We finished the inspection certification in December, we are doing a test to see if this is something homeowners would like to have done. If so then we will offer this service full time with other perks too. Also we are still taking on jobs we have some openings coming up if anyone has some work they need done before the summer comes. This was from the other day. Job was to go and replace all the faucets through the house. They are getting ready to list it and wanted everything to look new. We came in and did all 6 faucets (5bathrooms and 1 kitchen) for a little less that $600. Needless to say the bathrooms really look upgraded and the realtor is very pleased with the updates. New year and another project. This one has been pretty fun, with every turn we find something new. We were originally just supposed to do the tie down straps, but noticed the dirt under the trailer was holding a lot of moisture which was causing the bag, to fall apart. So we laid a 6mil plastic to prevent moisture from coming up. We fixed the bag in the places that it had busted. Then we put brand new tie downs on the trailer, the old ones had rusted apart and broke. We will be going back to put new skirting around the trailer. While working under the trailor we noticed that there were a couple of pipes with small leaks, so we are going to go ahead and take care of the customer before we are done. Usually we do everything in our power to address any issues we see before we leave a project, we just want to make sure our homeowners know that they are all set when we are done.

So I wanted to share this info with everyone. A very good friend of mine from my school days has opened his own handyman company, and he is also one of our brave firemen in Bedford. If you have any small handyman needs and would like to give him a call here is his page. Obviously it’s a little strange us sharing a competitors info, but I (Marcus Cooper) care more about supporting businesses or are honest and trustworthy over possibly losing clients.
