How I Discovered Norwex!

My 10yr old son and I decided to stay after our regular Fellowship Service because there was going to be a demo event with a free lunch. Well hey, Free Lunch right? I figured it wouldn’t hurt to see what they were talking about and NO WAY would I be interested in... whatever it is. Cleaning?? Yuck.

Just a little while into the demonstration, I was watching the Consultant use a simple microfiber cloth to clean greasy butter off a big picture window. I was smirking because I still saw streaks... until she gave it a quick polish with the Window Cloth. My smirk disappeared. The streaking I had seen was simply water residue. The glass was clean. Completely clean. Just from water and a cloth. Wow. Ok.... maybe there was something to this microfiber stuff, but WHY would I spend that much on a microfiber cloth when I can get them at a discount store for almost nothing? In fact, I already had a few. Then... a few of the cloths were passed around.

These cloths were NOTHING like the cheap cloths I had purchased over the years. In addition to the thickness and softness of the Norwex products, I have used the cheap microfiber and discovered that they don’t really pick up anything. They might be ok for a quick polish here and there, but they are NOT absorbent, they just smear things around. Most of them are retired to a storage bin under the sink. These Norwex products though, they were definitely different.

I watched how well the cloths absorb liquids. I watched a simple cloth and water REMOVE nasty food slime from a cutting board (I actually didn’t believe this until I did some further research later and discovered that, much to my surprise, Norwex Microfiber removes bacteria and germs from surfaces BETTER than name-brand chemical wipes!!). Wow. I also watched how well the products remove dust... without transferring the dust to OTHER surfaces.
