I am available for small and medium events, parties, and gatherings. As a subscriber to a music track service, I am authorized to perform live paid gigs without requiring a separate music license. This arrangement is particularly beneficial for small venues or private parties that do not desire an annual performance license but still wish to feature live cover music at select events. Attended an Open Mic last night (Wed) at Preston's in Swansboro. Professional and pleasant experience hosted by Donnie Lane. Giving it 5 stars all around! Wish I lived closer but will attend again. Begins at 7, sign up at 5:30..Does fill up!

Hey Everybody! Looking for recommendations about Open mics etc that support more than one type of music. I am a single lady act who plays guitar and sings country, soft rock and female classics. I use backtracks to enhance the sound. I have had multiple very nasty comments about enhancing my sound in my county by 'musicians' but wonderful praise from my audiences that are NOT musicians. I would enjoy the collaboration and social aspect of fellow musicians who are not so egotistical and narrow minded. Looking for pleasant social events not lectures on how to confirm to 'their way'. I enjoy celebrating female performers from 5 decades and intend to continue that as long as I can. Any venues you can recommend that are pleasant to attend and non judgemental? In the mean time, I will keep on keeping on...much thanks to my wonderful audiences...your encouragement keeps me going!!

June 25, Olde Beaufort Farmers Market, not as hot but rain and wind blew thru pretty hard around 11...I threw a nylon guitar case in front of my foot pedals for awhile and kept on keeping on...lol. the unexpected is to be expected in outside performances! On the bright side, my powered speakers look cleaner...
