Emergency squirrel removal for a customer in Redding this past Sunday morning.

After our team attempted to remove this squirrel for 45 minutes with no luck, we opted to set traps on Saturday inside of the chimney in hopes of calmly removing this animal who had already been stuck for 24 hours.

After monitoring by cell cam all night it was obvious that he wasn’t interested in food and would have to be physically removed from climbing into the chimney flue where the squirrel had fallen down into.

What should have been a simple caged animal pick up became an emergency removal, quickly..

So at 7am on a Sunday morning after 15 minutes of fighting / climbing, Blake was able to remove this squirrel from the customers chimney but it didn’t go the was we would hope for it to go.

Some squirrels put up more of a fight than others, watch and find out what happens! 🤠🐿️

Huge shoutout to our specialist Mike for finding this during the time of an inspection!

Our customer in Naugatuck requested an inspection for wildlife (unrelated issue) and said they had their ant problem under control having a preventative pest control service with another company…

Their company had been out there not even a month before for normal service.

Now I know what you’re thinking…. No, there were no clogged gutters, bridging (overhanging branches/ brush) and no this is not a new problem for this customer.

What you’ll see here is a newly moved colony trying to establish somewhere else in the home because the previous company treated the foundation with a repellent instead of a non repellent…

Put very simply, not all companies or programs are the same. It’s extremely important that the person coming to your home to protect your home knows what they’re doing, why they’re doing it, and how to identify these issues.

We’ll never talk bad about another company or what they’re doing, we’ll only tell you about what we do and why.

From here, what we’ll be doing is taking over.
