🚨 Update on the Remote Cleaning Pilot Program 🚨

After a full day of extensive testing, research, and field trials, I regret to inform everyone that remote cleaning is not a viable business model. 😔 Apparently, texting “you missed a spot” from 15 miles away does not actually make the dust disappear.

We completed a full day of cleans today, and despite my best efforts, not a single toilet scrubbed itself. The vacuum refused to operate via positive affirmations, and the baseboards remained stubbornly untouched until a real human showed up. 🤷‍♀️🤣

At this time, virtual house cleaning, remote deep cleans, and Wi-Fi-powered carpet cleaning have all been removed from our service menu.Looks like we’ll have to keep showing up in person after all. ❤️🧼

— Management is disappointed. The cleaning crew saw this outcome coming. 🤣🤣🤣

You know what? Today feels like a great day for a mental health day. Since I’m not allotted PTO, vacation days, sick days, or HR-approved naps, I figured I’d just give it a shot. 🤣

If you could kindly send over payment, I’ll gladly text you step-by-step instructions on how to clean your house today. 💁‍♀️

Bonus package includes:

A huge thank you to Tony D at TDPrinting LLC for knocking out our largest apparel order to date! ❤️

Fun backstory: Tony and I actually worked for the same company for several years. After leaving, we both took the leap and started our own businesses. It’s been pretty cool watching both ventures grow over the years.

Seeing stacks of shirts like this is a pretty surreal reminder of how much TheCarpetGal has grown. What started as one person with a vacuum and a dream has turned into a team, a brand, and a business that continues to grow because of the support of our amazing clients and community.

Special props to my kiddos for helping show off the new gear! 📸❤️ And thanks to my mom for picking everything up for me after I completely forgot to put it on my calendar and blew right past pickup time. 🤦‍♀️🤣

Now the crew is officially stocked up and looking the part as we head into another busy season of making homes sparkle. ✨🧼
