Is a ceramic coating right for you.
Interior ceramic coating,In my opinion it is correct for everyone.Think of it as the old scotch guard on steroids but actually works. After the interior if prepped correctly it can be applied to all you interior surfaces excluding seat belts and foot peddles.it will not change the appearance like armor all does and will leave the surfaces with almost a silk feeling.it will make the interior less prown to static helping repell dust. All surfaces including seats and carpet can be cleaned with a damp cloth. It also adds UV protection to the interior. How long will it last well in theory on none wear areas the life of your vehicle on all wear areas steering wheel arm rest edge of the seat that has contact getting in and out it all depends on your driving habbits so I would put it at 7 mounts to a year and I am being very conservative with that estimate. The good thing all you will need is spot retreating.
Exterior ceramic coating.
No it isn't for everyone.First lets dispel the myth about the coating. It will not guard against stone chips door dings scratches and you will never have to wash your vehicle agin. What it will do is put a layer of protection between the environment and your vehicles paint ,protecting it from everyday fall out, bird dropping water spotting ( mineral deposits ) It will last depending how you take care of your vehicle and the coating you choose 3 - 5 -8 years and those are all conservative estimates.it has excellent UV protection and it will make it easier to maintain your vehicle. You will not have to wash it as often, the hydrophobic properties help shed dirt and water away from the surface,It will be easier to dry the vehicle after a wash you will not have to use the wipers due to the hydrophobic properties the vehicle will have a beautiful gloss and will be silky smooth to the touch. If you use a car wash (which i never recommend ) after time you will notice the gloss and hydrophobic properties going away the ceramic coating is still good you just need a decontamination of the surface to bring back all the benefits of the coating.
I am happy to discuss any question.
