It’s that time of year again ☀️🏊‍♂️

Green pools are starting to pop up everywhere, and once the heat really hits, they only get worse. The sooner it’s cleaned, the easier (and cheaper) it is to fix.

Spring is right around the corner and this is exactly why regular pool maintenance makes such a big difference.

The filter on the left just came out of a pool that hadn’t been cleaned in a while. The one on the right is brand new in one photo and freshly cleaned in the other. When a cartridge gets that clogged, the pool can’t circulate the way it should, chemicals don’t work as well, and that’s usually when the water starts getting cloudy or turning green.

Now is honestly the best time to get everything ready before the heat really kicks in. A good spring clean usually includes:
-Cleaning the filter cartridges
-Balancing the water
-Brushing and vacuuming the pool
-Checking the equipment (pump, timer, filter, etc.)
-Making sure everything is ready before pool season starts

If it’s been a few weeks or maybe even a few months since your filter was cleaned, it needs it.
