A Mainer born and raised, my draw to buildings & architecture started out with my parents apartment buildings where I would earn my allowance spackling, sanding, and painting walls in between tenants. While earning my business degree, I worked for an oil company learning the industry inside and out, and later accepted a position at a construction company as the office manager, where I learned a lo
t of information about the rest of the home. At the age of 20 while I was still in college, I purchased my first multi-family home in central Maine, fixing it up while living in one unit and renting out the other unit. After selling it for a profit 5 years later, I moved to Southern Maine. A couple years later, I was offered an opportunity to buy into Maine Realty, and now own 50% with Paul Diou, who is a fantastic business partner. Not being able to shake my love for restoring old homes, I turned "AimeeDoesHouses" into an insured and registered renovation company, where we bring buildings that need a little TLC or updating back to their original glory. Your environment has a huge impact on your mental, emotional and physical health. I strive to create a space that best benefits your design style as well as your lifestyle. Organizing and putting systems in place can be difficult when you're in the thick of it every day. This is a service we offer as well! Working together, we will figure out what works best for you: whether that's storage solutions, menu boards, entryway catch-all systems, or something totally custom, we will turn your life around and get you on the right track. I pride myself in being professional but laidback. Kind, but a tough negotiator. Friendly with all, but YOUR advocate first. If you’re looking for a Realtor who will be REAL with you: I’m your person!
