We recently learned that couples were not including cocktail hour at their weddings which left a gap of unaccounted for time between the ceremony and the reception. So we talked about it on the podcast!

PLAN LIKE A PRO TIP: if the reception does not immediately start after the ceremony, we strongly encourage couples to have some type of light refreshments during cocktail hour available for guests as they wait for the next moment.

If you’ve been invited to a wedding or event and your invitation did not include a plus one, do not! I repeat do not reach out to the couple or host and ask if you can bring someone. Respect their budget and planning decisions. 🥂🥂
