I wanted to thank you for reading both the page and the main BrevardBeagle -dot- com site. We just passed a thousand followers here and that's certainly a milestone for which I wanted to give thanks. It means a lot to me (and the dog), so please know your continued support is not unnoticed nor is it unappreciated.

That said, Facebook has changed the way it allows small businesses to post links on this platform. Whereas previously I could link just about every story on Facebook and in groups, now I only get two free links a month and if I pay $50 a month I can get eight links.

That has crippled my output and my connection with folks on Facebook, but I have a work around plan I think may work.

Starting Oct. 26, for updates I'll post a photo from a story and to READ THE STORY you will not find a direct web link but some verbage directing you to the main landing page for the site.

I know that's not an ideal way to update you when there are new additions to the site, but there is another option: bookmark the main page in a browser and the newest items will always show up at the top of the site.

That's the best idea I have for keeping you up to date. I'm also looking into starting a newsletter you can sign up for which would email new articles and posts, but that is still a work in progress.

Please bear with me while we see how this works out (or not). I love "sniffing out the latest in the Land of the White Squirrel" as well as sharing it all with you online. I hope you will continue to feel the same as we weather the technical difficulties which I hope are only temporary.

That said, brace yourself for more holiday and seasonal happenings. Halloweenfest was fun, and I hope events such as THUNDERWEEN Bash this Friday and beyond will bring us closer together as the days get shorter and the weather gets colder.
