Wood floors are beautiful. They make any home or business look incredible. But maintenance and up keep can be confusing. Which cleaning products and polishes (if any) should go on your floors? And what happens when regular cleaning just isn’t cutting it anymore. As floor restoration specialists, we run into these issues all the time. Once new floors start to wear; haziness, dullness, & scratches can start to create a love-hate relationship between you and your floors. We know that the first few thoughts that may cross your mind when considering getting your floors taken care of is that it can be pricey and time consuming; but that isn’t always the case! Most people think that a full sanding or complete replacement is the only way to make your floors look amazing again. But in fact, there are a few other options that could take care of your floor problems before even considering either of these methods. Most wood floors contain similar issues. Whether that be wear and tear in high traffic areas where many people walk through, or scratches through out from pets and objects being dragged through the floors. In some cases, over the counter products such as quick shine or rejuvenate are applied to the floors. At first, these polishes seem to take care of the issues, so they get applied again and again after each cleaning. Unfortunately these products do not bond to the floors properly since they already come with a protective finish on top. What happens next is your floors will begin to appear more and more dull as time goes on. We can help! We not only remove all of the residue and wax build up from the floors, but we also remove the old finish and reapply a brand new coat of the proper polyurethane to your floors. What this does is it not only removes everything that is not meant to be there, but it also gives the wood floors a brand new protective finish that will help them last for years to come. We provide in person estimates and demos as well to show you exactly what to expect from our process, and we also teach the proper methods on taking care of your floors afterwards so that these issues do not happen again. Sometimes a deep cleaning just isn’t enough to restore certain floors. Unfortunately grout lines are very porous, becoming permanently discolored over time. But there’s a solution that does not need replacement! After our deep cleaning to remove all residue and dirt build up, we are able to follow up with a color seal method to give the grout a brand new color and add the sealant to help prevent future damage. This next step restoration process eliminates the sight of all permanent discoloration. We patch any missing grout areas, and then apply the color sealant to make sure every line is unison in color and look, leaving your floors like the first day they were installed.

What we do- leave your floors as clean as can be!
How do we do it? We start by identifying the problems. Whether that be wax build up from polishes and heavy soap residue, or just normal wear and tear dirt and grime that has accumulated over the years. Once we’ve identified the issues, we get straight to work. We treat the floors with the proper detergents to unbond and break down the unsightly residue. We then mechanically scrub the floors to provide the proper agitation for removal. Our final step is to extract all contaminants from the floors; residues, dirt & grime, and any other polishes. Once we are finished extracting everything with our truck mounted equipment and high pressure steam, the end results are clean floors that you will fall in love with again! Consider our deep cleaning methods for your floors before jumping into replacement! It will save you thousands while taking care of common floor issues and restoring the floors to like new conditions.
