Owning a Cleaning Company
Owning a Cleaning company is not for the timid… it takes organization, (balancing schedules, clients and staff) formulas (cleaning fee splitting, making it fair for all involved) lead sourcing, blogging, marketing, building a client base. I cleaned for one client 7 years ago (sub contract) and figured out real quick, I’m too damn old to be the Braun. I now have 6 girls on my cleaning team and 2 linen team members. We successfully service 35 STR clients and 15 residential/Realestate clients, in an over saturated market. The beauty of it, at the end of my day is, my clients Never feel like one of any number. Reminds me of when I attended my catering partner/best friend’s funeral, there were so many people there (300 ish) and she never made me feel like I was one of many, wasn’t sharing her love with all that loved her. Best advice I can give anyone in this highly competitive business, never stop learning, take notes, save everything (never know when it might be useful) build a relationship/partnership with your staff and clients, be flexible, be humble and don’t take things personally (constructive criticism) and know you’re worth! (Do Not work for anyone that treats you like the help! (Screw that 🤣)
