Stabilized chlorine does more than add chlorine to your pool. 🔑

Products like trichlor tablets and dichlor also add cyanuric acid (CYA), which helps protect chlorine from sunlight. But unlike chlorine, CYA doesn’t get used up the same way, so levels can gradually build as stabilized chlorine is added over time.

That doesn’t mean you need to stop using tablets. It means CYA should be part of your regular water testing, especially after a long Texas summer.
