Thach Hut Laundry Self service is open 24/7. Drop off hours are Mon-Fri 7:30-5:30 & Sat 9-2, cash, check or venmo only. We are a laundromat serving the Auburn Opelika area.

We offer Drop-off wash/dry/fold service for $1 per pound with a $10 minimum, average load weight is 15-30 pounds. We have separate pricing for bulky items such as duvets, pillows and rugs. Comforter prices: King/Queen $20, Full/Twin $18, Feather/Down $35, Sleeping bags $18, Pillows/rugs $18-25. We do not offer dry cleaning services.

UPDATE: Roadblocks are being set up near Thach Avenue and Armstrong Street. Read more for location of roadblocks:

The gas leak is in the vicinity of Thach Avenue and Armstrong Street. Some structures in the area are being evacuated. There will be roadblocks set up at the following locations:
➡️ Magnolia Avenue and Gay Street heading south
➡️ East Thach Avenue and Payne Street heading west
➡️ South Gay Street and Miller Avenue heading north
➡️ South College Street and East Thach Avenue heading east
Pedestrians and drivers please avoid the area until further notice.

We will be temporarily closing our drop off service on Saturdays for the month of January! We hope to reopen Saturdays again soon! The laundromat will remain open 24/7 for self service as always!

We are considering taking on an extra part time laundry attendant. Current shifts are 7:30am-1:00pm M-F, 1:00pm-5:30pm M-F & 9am-2pm Saturday.
Probably 15-22 hours per week, $11.00 per hour.
Must be honest, reliable and able to work shifts assigned and have reliable transportation, non-smoker.
Must be able to lift heavy loads and stand for long periods.

Found Cat. Injured paws, and wet from the storm today. We found them in the window of the laundromat, hiding from the rain. Cat has been taken to the Humane Society where they checked for a chip but didn't find one. Please contact CARE Humane Society for more information.
