Oh the dreaded rust is upon me. Well it is upon a customer's book anyway.

No way to really get rid of all that staining after a staple oxidizes into its component atoms. Pulled the rusty one out, put down a little archival tape and installed a donor staple.

It's a hot mess, but it's at least a bit better.

Decided that I needed another complete set of Zen Intergalactic Ninja from 1987. Made an offer on Ebay and got a decent deal.

The first issue is going to CGC and we'll see how it turns out. Probably a 9.0 or a 9.2 would be my guess. And like always - I had to replace both of the rusty staples.

One of the most unusual posts I've seen of my stuff so far. Looks like there's some kind of ai combing through group posts and putting together summary articles. This group hardly has any engagement, but I go there to show some of my work.

Worked on a few Image 0 issues this week. The corners were pretty banged up. Took some humidity and roller tool action to get them in better shape. A couple of them are sort of damaged beyond getting a decent CGC grade, but it's an improvement anyway.

Thought I'd at least give these a little time on the bench. Not worth a whole lot in this condition but it sucks that corners get damaged.

Really not sure how well this will be received, but I've made a new group to showcase or promote my side-hustle selling comic book cleaning and pressing tools/products.

Trying to find another way to get the word out on the stuff I do. If you can promote me by sharing the new group, that would be awesome. If not - maybe you're looking for a new roller tools or something else you can use.
