There are 11 more of these in 9.8, and another 12 in 9.6 on the CGC census - these are sort of scarce I think. My buddy Lou gave me this one after I pressed 8 copies for his store. Unfortunately, we were not able to get a 9.8 grade from his back-stock.

Lucky to have this one though.

Working on several copies of Wolverine limited series #3. All of the bottom staple prongs are open from the factory printing process. In order to press these issues correctly, I have to manually close the staple prongs on each issue.

It's the little things that you always need to look into while doing a good job.

Just finished up on this one today. Pretty common issue, but it turned out okay.

Sometimes comics get to my work table and they're so smoked, it's better not to try to fix them at all. You risk pieces falling off and more damage just by trying to clean or press them.

With the animal chew in the upper corner and the book literally falling apart, I opted to just scrape a little junk off the cover and place it in a mylar bag. We'll let CGC sort it out.

Working on customer books is fun but sometimes I like to work on stuff that I think most people don't own.

Found a weird Chinese brand of erasers that are super soft and shed very fast. It's important that an eraser cleans well and doesn't harm the paper (comic book) in the process. There seems to be no shortage of the variety of erasers available in the world and it gets frustrating when you purchase something that doesn't work well.

The Chinese characters on the box translate to "wiped clean" and the word "Zhongfei" which is not helpful to order additional stock. But I have secured a fair amount of these so I should be okay for awhile.

Here are three pages of original art from Colleen Doran. I've been a fan of hers for a long time. Met her at a Detroit Comic-Con in the 90s. I still interact with her on her page.

The first image has a vellum overlay with dialog but it obscures the art - so it's not shown.
