Just a little quick information, lots of carpenter Bee activity now, carpenter bees are big puppy dogs that won’t hurt you, in fact males, the ones who hover and act tough cannot sting you, females can but the chances are extremely low, I am not a huge fan of exterminating them, but they will cause alot of damage on peoples homes, especially log cabins, they can turn them into Swiss cheese pretty quick, but if there boring in some old stuff around your house like maybe a swing set or old playground that never gets used, I would say it’s okay just to let them be, they only last till about July and won’t hurt anything and they are also amazing pollinators, hope everyone has a great weekend.

If there was ever perfection for weather I believe this is it, maybe 5 degrees warmer but really can’t beat this.

Good morning, please keep in mind that when I schedule your home at a certain time to have your first service done for the year that there is a reason for it, when it’s two weeks or so away from when you contact me it’s not because I am putting people over you, I dont show favoritism towards anyone, I value all our customers the same, it’s cause I have serviced most of you for a long time and I know when it’s the best time to service it so you don’t have issues, for instance, carpenter bees, you can’t do a maintenance spray in April or early May and expect it to work, you need some activity to get rid of them, also when you see wasp in your house in the spring time it’s more then likely from a overwintered hive that a queen abandoned and there is still gonna be a few that survived and will show up in your house, that is very short lived, we are not even close to having a acuall hive in or in your home, a nest might be the size of a finger nail at this point. I appreciate everyone’s patience, I always make sure you get your home serviced every year and will continue to do so, remember, I am a single owned company who also does all the work. I am sure everyone witnesses a explosion of wasp flying around today, please keep in mind that they are just looking to nest, we are a long ways away from having a actual nest built, remember, we want wasp around, they do a lot of good, we just don’t want them building hives on our structures or homes, when you service your home it will prevent them from doing that. I like to send this information out this time of year to let mainly my newer customers know that, customers we have had for years and years know how it works, hope everyone has a great day.

Caught this wasp trying to steal some wood to begin building his nest, when you see wasp flying around or landing on your deck, it doesn’t mean you have a nest on your home, especially from April to June, but they are stealing it to begin the process of making there nest. Remember, when we hit these warmer temps coming up, you will see a lot of wasp activity, keep in mind it’s way to early for an actual wasp problem. Those generally show up around August when the nest is mature, main reason for applications being done are to prevent you from having an issue, hope everyone has a great night. Chris

Posted early this morning and somehow it’s not there anymore, woke up early on this fine Saturday to find my truck would not start, contacted Lucas at Parsch automotive in Imaly City at 6:20 am, he called me back in about 2 minutes to let me know it’s the starter and tried to help me get it started so I can do my services and then bring it to him at the end of the day, unfortunately it didn’t work and he gave me a number to a tow truck drive in Capac, called USA Towing , guy was here within 45 min and had it to the shop for Lucas’s to fix, but mainly would like to give my Dad a shout out cause I bugged him at 7:00 am and told him I needed his truck to get my services done for my customers, all he said was, bring it back with the same amount of gas and run it though the car wash 🤣🤣🤣, what a day. Fine world of it’s not what you know but who you know, hope y’all have a great weekend. Chris

Good morning and happy Saturday everyone, we are starting to get pretty full the first couple weeks of June, if you where wanting to schedule your first maintenance spray of the year please reach out to me, May is fully booked as of now, I would like to have everyone’s first service done before July, not only will it prevent problems when we start to get into real heavy insect season but also people who where serviced in April will start getting ready for there second round, helps me keep up with everyone, also keep in mind if you where wanting a one time mosquito spray set up for a party, wedding, open house or a special occasion, please reach out to me about that as well, I will schedule that for any time during the season.
