Tomorrow will be my last day of cleaning. We are moving so I'm closing down my business. I have truly enjoyed cleaning for people and making new friends. I will miss everyone but hope to see you all again.

Growing up with a Mom that worked at CDC taugh me a lot of things about communicable diseases. They are always going to be around and what doesn't kill you makes you stronger. In times like this you have to use Your common sense. If someone is sick try to stay away from them or limit you exposure when possible. Wash you hands thoroughly when you have been in contact with a sick person or any of their bodily fluids. DO NOT SHARE food, drinks, utensils, chapstick and eye drops. If possible sleep in another room and stop giving "feel better"/ "good night" kisses to the sick person. Be sure your toothbrush is not next to theirs and remember to replace their toothbrush after sickness. I'm sure you can think of other things, If so feel free to post them. Be sure to keep your post "G" rated. Thank You 😀

Just a tip: In cold weather mice look for warm dry shelter, whether it's in your house, camper or car. You have the option of using traps or repellents. Yes, mice do serve a purpose in the eco system but when they nest in your home or car they can do a lot of damage to your wiring and that could cause a fire or a lot of money to fix. And yes they can get into the interior of you car. Case in point, I found mouse droppings in my mop bucket in my work car. I set a trap and caught him! Peanut butter worked fine. Oh, I also reset the trap incase there's more.

Just a tip: Remember here in the mountains we have some big black bears that just love trash cans and food scraps. Their sense of smell is 7 x's better than a blood hound or 2,100 x's better than a human. You may ask if I have seen a bear and the answer would be YES! About 5 years ago I open the basement door to see a bear about 15 feet away tearing into our trash for supper. Needless the say I did not want to disturb his/her meal.

Just A Tip: Lady bugs & stink bugs have been a big problem lately. They both give off a bad odor and are hard to get rid of once they make their way into your home. Every time you see one grab it up and flush it. It's not recommend to us a vacuum cleaner for stink bugs because their strong odor is hard to get out of a vacuum. For more information and help you can check with you local county extension service or pest control company.

Just A Tip: Be sure to check your dryer vent monthly in side and out. Lent can collect in the hose and on the vent outlet cover which could effect your drying time and could become a fire hazard. Be sure to keep the out side cover on to prevent rodents from entering your home. Yes! back in the 80's I had field mice climb in through my dryer vent and collect dry dog food and store it in my dryer which later caught fire. The repair man said he had never seem anything like it before. (True Story)
