Smoking my first brisket on the traeger! Seems to be going well. Been on since 9 this morning, it marinated about 18 hours. Will be taking off in a few hours and wrapping in butcher paper to go back on for another 3. I will post the after pics later! Tomorrow I will be making Texas twinkies with some chopped brisket and cream cheese stuffed inside bacon wrapped fresh jalapeños! For dinner tonight will be cooking filet mignon, grilled yellow corn and baked/sweet potatoes with salad and some very tasty wheat dinner rolls! I’m hoping to get around ten pounds of smoked brisket for street tacos and very many other things!
