Tonight feels pretty damn cool.

After this city block, one entire side of the main drag will be cleaned up—and this was probably the dirtiest block on that side.

What started as simply wanting to give a little time back to the community has turned into something I genuinely look forward to doing. There’s just something satisfying about seeing the difference when the night is over.

Appreciate everyone who stopped, waved, said something kind, or simply supported what I’m doing. 🤘

☀️ DON’T FORGET WHAT’S SITTING ON YOUR ROOF.

Today’s project is getting the complete treatment — trees cleared back, roof washed, house soft washed, and the solar panels professionally cleaned.

Solar panels depend on sunlight reaching the cells, and buildup on the glass can reduce that light. Rain can help with some debris, but research shows stubborn contaminants like pollen can remain even after significant rainfall.

And when we’re cleaning panels, this isn’t the place for blasting them with high pressure. Manufacturer recommendations matter, and NREL guidance specifically cautions against high-pressure water and harsh or abrasive cleaning methods.

They say one of the perks of owning a business is being able to take a day off whenever you want…

And that’s 100% true.

The problem is, I’m a workaholic. 😂 I genuinely LOVE this. I love the grind, I love a stacked schedule, and I still feel guilty sometimes when I take a day off.

But there’s a big difference between having to work and choosing to work.

Today is Labor Day. I could’ve shut the schedule down, parked the trailer and called it a long weekend.

Instead, AWP Exterior Cleaning is out here doing what we do—cranking out properties and taking care of our clients.

I worked damn hard to build a life where I have the freedom to take a day off whenever I want.

Today just wasn’t that day. 😂

Just to be up front I do work for myself so I can take a day off whenever I want Labor Day or not but today for Labor Day we’re grinding..

You could leave this life tomorrow.

That’s not meant to be negative—it’s a reminder to stop wasting today.
