IS ANYONE LOOKING FOR A JOB?
Please read the whole post and then privately message me if you’re seriously interested or if you have questions. I’m going to list very specific details of said job without sugar coating anything.
If you can’t check off almost everything I list, the job is unfortunately not for you. Unless you’re willing to change a few things!
The description may sound a little scary or intimidating but I assure you, it’s not!
I own a cleaning company that cleans AirBnB’s.
This job position is for cleaning tech’s that have the following:
-Do you have a vehicle? (Not a ride to work.. a vehicle that you can drive everyday guaranteed)
-Do you have good work ethic? The more you work, the more money you make.
-Must be honest, responsible and reliable!!
-Do you have attention to detail? If you can’t look at a room and notice that 2 couch pillows are turned opposite ways instead of facing the same direction, that’s a big problem for this job. (That’s something we can work on and change with practice!)
-Are you willing to work weekends? Doesn’t have to be every single weekend, But weekends are our biggest days.. so, with that being said, you make the most money on Sunday.
-Can’t already be working at another job. This job will take up all of your time! UNLESS you are just wanting part time, which we are interested in someone working just Sundays and Mondays too!!!!
-We don’t pay under the table! You will receive a 1099 at the end of the year. It’s not a scary situation. I can explain the tax process to you in a private message, and I provide all the necessary info you need and can provide you help.
-MUST be willing to drive up to an 30-45min away. This is non negotiable. 90% of our houses that we clean are in Asheville. We also have houses in Hendersonville, Mills River, Fletcher, Fairview, Weaverville, Candler, Canton etc
-Your gas is not paid for but I promise, your pay will make up for that! & I’ll teach you how to write it off your taxes along with your car payment, maintenance, insurance, phone bill ETC
-You will need to have the ability to work well under pressure. Usually, the houses we clean are easy. Very seldomly we walk into a home that is dirty with trash left around etc. It’s not as bad as you’d think. Just remain level headed and do the job as usual. If the situation is bad enough, another tech will arrive to help you and/or you’ll be compensated with extra pay!
-If you hate cleaning, this is NOTTT the job for you!!!!!
-You must be okay with receiving feedback on your work. We do quality checks on the homes after you clean. We then contact you and let you know how you did. Whether it’s good or needs improvement. It’s always friendly feedback!
-You do NEED a smart phone!- and the availability to learn how to use 2 apps.
-We work all Holidays except for Thanksgiving day, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day.
-Time off is allowed with a 2 week notice!
-You need to be available from 8am-4pm. Times change depending on how close the job is for you that day and which house you’re cleaning (a small one or large one). Your clean will usually start at 10am and you have to be done by 4pm. Every now and then, you can arrive sooner. Arriving earlier allows you to get off earlier.
-Most of us employees are parents. I allow you to bring your kiddos to work with you if their sick from school or they are still a toddler, I offer flexibility for you to be off in time to get your kids off the bus/pickup (as long as its coordinated in advance when making your schedule)- This job is very mom friendly, if all is coordinated in advance and planned accordingly with me doing your schedule.
-You’re not paid hourly. You’re paid by the job. It averages out to be around $25-$45 hourly if you are a fast worker who can stay on track.
-You have the potential to make anywhere from $20k-$45k/year. Of course that all depends on your availability and work ethic!
-A good memory is helpful for this job. Once you learn our procedures for cleaning a home, you will get faster at cleaning. So if you are very forgetful or can’t follow directions, this is something that may hold you back.
