Be careful when dealing with ice dams. The maintenance crew removed snow and put ice melt to high on the roof and made the ice dams much bigger. Always clear downspout area first to allow for drainage. Don't let anyone use axes, hammers or a hot water pressure washer, they all damage the roof and the extra water from the pressure washer creates more ice issues on the ground
