Why does my pool keep losing chlorine?

If you're constantly adding chlorine to your pool but it seems to disappear almost immediately, there may be more going on than just "needing more chlorine."
A few common causes are:
☀️ Texas heat & sunlight — UV exposure can burn through chlorine quickly.
💧 Low or improperly balanced CYA — Cyanuric acid helps protect chlorine from the sun, but too little or too much can create its own problems.
🦠 Organic contaminants — Algae, debris, and other contaminants consume chlorine.
⚗️ Water chemistry that's out of balance — pH and alkalinity affect how effectively your chlorine works.
🧪 An undersized or improperly adjusted chlorinator — Your pool may simply not be getting enough chlorine consistently.
That's why adding more chlorine isn't always the answer.

🔥 Before → After Pool Transformation 🔥
This pool went from cloudy, green, and not filtering properly…
to clear, clean, and ready to go.
What we found:
Broken pump diffuser (no proper circulation)
DE filter running with no DE
Torn filter grids letting debris back into the pool
Cleaner not functioning due to worn parts
What we did: ✅ Repaired circulation system
