Those autumn leaves look great on trees—not on your car hood. 🍂🌧️

When wet leaves sit on your vehicle, they do more than leave a mess. As organic matter breaks down, it releases natural acids and tannins that seep directly into your clear coat. Mix in trapped rainwater, road grime, and sun, and you get:

Staining & Discoloration: Dark silhouettes etched straight into your paint.

Corrosion & Rust: Piles of wet leaves trap moisture in door jambs, wiper cowls, and windshield gutters.

Clogged Drains: Decaying debris blocks cabin filter intakes and water drain lines, leading to potential interior leaks and moldy smells.

Simply brushing dry leaves off with your hands or wipers can scratch the surface, and a quick rain shower only accelerates the chemical reaction.

How Driven Car Wash Protects Your Ride:
A thorough wash flushes out the hidden crevices where debris compacts and neutralizes corrosive plant acids before they bake into your finish. Plus, our protective waxes and ceramic coatings create a slick barrier so future leaves and water slide right off instead of sticking.

Don't let fall weather dull your shine. Pull through Driven Car Wash and keep your paint protected for the season!

Happy 1-Year Drivenversary, Lorenzo! 🎉

If you’ve rolled through our Des Plaines location over the past year, chances are you’ve been greeted by Lorenzo’s welcoming smile. As one of our dedicated Customer Service Associates, he’s become a familiar, trusted face to so many of our regular customers.

When asked what keeps him motivated each day, Lorenzo shared:

"What I love most about working at Driven is the environment and the people. I really enjoy interacting with our customers, especially when they come in already knowing who I am. I also appreciate my coworkers—once you get to know them, you see their fun personalities, and I love how we work together as a team.

I’m truly grateful for my job because it allows me to provide for my family. Outside of work, I’m a father, so I value spending as much time as I can with my son."

Team members like Lorenzo make Driven Car Wash feel like a family. Thank you for your hard work, your positive energy, and an incredible first year with us!

Drop a comment below to help us congratulate Lorenzo on Year 1! 👏🚗✨
