We are pleased to announce that Moore Than Expected General Store at 1780 Church Street in Appomattox will extend our hours of operation to include Mondays during the summer season, effective immediately, from 10 am to 4 pm. Additionally, we would like to introduce our new baker, Christie Christi Petey-Horton Thacker with mor-lyn-del farm who will be providing a selection of artisan sourdough bread, Jalapeño and plain pretzels, accompanied by her signature homemade honey mustard. Heather Roof with My Homely Kitchen will stock us up with her amazing sourdough breads and Mandy Harris Younger is back from vacation and will stock back up with all her delicious sourdough goodies! And, Karissa Bromley with Ba's Kitchen will have her delicious breads and cookies. We have also added a new freezer stocked with a variety of products including hot and mild sausage, pork chops, and ribs provided by Katie Stinson Harshman with Low Country Farms.

And best news ever..we will have fresh Halifax cantelopes next week.

While you are here pick up some delicious ice-cream from Richlands Dairy. We have lots of flavors. 🍧🍧We also have baked good and so much Moore!

We will close at 2 today and reopen on Monday.

We will be open on July 4th until 2 pm and will be closed this Sunday so we have a little time to celebrate our 250 years of freedom with family and friends.

But, I have great news...we are going to start being open on Mondays from 10 am until 4 pm for our summer hours.🥳🎊

We are pleased to announce that Moore Than Expected General Store is preparing for the 4th and our 250 year celebration. Please visit us to pick up one of our decorations for your weekend festivities. Heather Roof of My Homely Kitchen has decorated her brownies for your gathering. Ba's Kitchen with Karissa Bromley offers outstanding oatmeal cream cookies and delicious banana bread available by the slice. Clara's pies are famous now in our little store and our cooler will be stocked tomorrow.

Kathy Paulette has the perfect bracelet for your 4th festivities and we have a table full of decorations waiting on you.

Hey friends, you guys asked for more veggies and baked goods and we heard you! We have a table full of veggies and halifax cantelopes. Mandy Harris Younger with The Enchanted Bakery is on a well deserved vacation this week but we have added a wonderful baker, Heather Roof with My Homely Kitchen and she is gonna pack the shelves with:

Cinnamon Rolls
New-Sourdough Brownies
New-Boston Tea Party Sweet Rolls

Happy Sunday! Come on down to Moore Than Expected General store today at 1780 Church Street in Appomattox and grab a bag full of fresh veggies and a couple of peaches! We just restocked this morning and have some beautiful tomatoes!

Happy Father's Day!! We are Open today and we have restocked with some additional pies today and we have fresh vegetables just brought in today.

In addition, I am excited to announce that I have partnered with several local growers that will be bringing produce to us. We also have an additional baker, so we 're going to be stocked up with a delicious selection this week and we'll continue to be stocked with the best baked goods that you can find in Appomattox Virginia, at Moore Than Expected General Store at 1780 Church Street.
