FREEZING TEMPERATURES. 🥶

Before the real cold settles in, take a few minutes to help protect your home from frozen pipes and an unexpected water loss:

🚿 Disconnect garden hoses and store them for winter
🚰 Shut off & drain exterior faucets where applicable
🔎 Find your main water shutoff BEFORE you need it
🏠 Check pipes along exterior walls for areas vulnerable to freezing
🚗 Keep garage doors closed if water lines run through the garage
💧 Don’t ignore small leaks because little problems have a way of becoming expensive ones

Parents, give that candy haul a quick inspection before the taste-testing begins. Toss anything opened, unwrapped or questionable, and keep allergy concerns in mind.

Make sure costumes fit properly to help prevent trips and falls. Add reflective tape, glow sticks or lights so kids are easier to see, and choose face paint over masks that can block vision when possible.
