💗 As many of you know, we’re more than just a family business here at MaidRite—we’re simply neighbors trying to make a difference where we can. 🙏🏼
This week, we’ve been focused on doing what we can to support our neighbors in need during this time of crisis due to Hurricane Helene.
Yesterday, we served 80 hotdogs, several trays of mac and cheese, a pot of homemade chili, and plenty of ice-cold drinks and snacks to our seniors in Hawaiian Isles down in Old Sun City. Today, we were back with meatball subs, green beans, fresh salad, and even more drinks and snacks.
Tomorrow, we’ll continue our efforts, serving pork tenderloin, hamburgers, black beans and rice, and a fresh salad.
We’ve had folks ask why we’re doing this and who we are, and the answer is simple: we’re local people who believe in the power of giving back. While yes, we do run a small business, this effort is really about coming together as a community and extending a hand when people need it most.
We’re incredibly grateful to EVERYONE (including several of our amazing clients) who has supported us through donations, supplies, and encouragement. Your generosity is what makes all of this possible. We’ll keep showing up as long as there’s a need! ❤️🙏
