The Apache Junction Sewer District (AJSD) proudly recognizes and extends its heartfelt appreciation to Kathleen Waldron, Board Chairperson, and Jim Reynolds, Vice Chairperson, for their years of dedicated service, leadership, and commitment to our District and the Apache Junction community.
Kathleen Waldron – 24 Years of Service (2002–2026)
For an extraordinary 24 years, Kathleen has demonstrated unwavering dedication to public service. As Board Chairperson, her leadership, guidance, and commitment have helped shape the District's growth and progress. Her contributions have left a lasting legacy that will continue to benefit our organization and the community for years to come.
Jim Reynolds – 10 Years of Service (2016–2026)
For a decade, Jim has faithfully served the District, including his role as Vice Chairperson. His thoughtful leadership, valuable insight, and commitment to the District's mission have played an important role in supporting our continued success and service to the community.

🚧 Cities and Towns Week Spotlight: Public Works & Utilities

Our Public Works Department’s employees help keep Apache Junction running smoothly and safely. From road maintenance and engineering to maintaining City buildings, vehicles and equipment, traffic signals, streetlights, sidewalks and thousands of street signs, their work touches nearly every part of our community.

They also handle storm and emergency response, street sweeping, storm drain maintenance and alley management. Public Works staff are on call 24/7/365 as emergency responders and lead programs like Household Hazardous Waste Day and Adopt a Road, helping keep our city clean and vibrant.

Our community also relies on several local utility providers for essential services. The Apache Junction Water District manages a significant portion of our local water supply, works on water conservation efforts and continues to expand its water resources to meet the community’s needs. 💧

A special thank you to the Apache Junction Sewer District, Republic Services and the Arizona Water Company for the important services they provide to our residents as well.

Thank you to our Public Works and Utilities teams and all of our community partners for the work you do behind the scenes to keep Apache Junction thriving! 💙
