Dear Bin Blaster Antioch customers, friends, family, and fans,

It is with a heavy heart that I write this message. My husband, Shawn Frieson, the owner and operator of our business, passed away on Wednesday, June 19, 2024. As some may know, he left his corporate job of 20+ years to try something new. Before Shawn pursued this new endeavor, my daughter suggested he switch from watching Instagram reels to TikTok, as she believed it was better. Once Shawn downloaded TikTok, the first video he saw was Casey Eversten’s Bin Blasters HQ reel. Shawn then showed me the video and said, “I think I can do this,” which I completely agreed with. He continued to watch the videos for a couple of months and researched the bin cleaning business. We toyed with the idea of starting our own company or franchising with Bin Blasters, but after a trip to Utah, and a lot of encouragement (maybe a little pushing) from me, we decided to go for it and franchised with Bin Blasters. Seeing the joy, excitement, and nervousness of making his dream come true was like seeing a kid open a present on Christmas morning. He had huge hopes and dreams for Bin Blasters Antioch and how it would be the perfect way to build something for his family.

Bin Blaster brought him so many great memories and stories with his customers. This man was one in a million. If you haven’t, check out the reviews on Google Shawn would get; they aren’t just about his service, but about who he was as a person, and it shows what an amazing human being he was. Shawn’s ability to strike up a conversation with his customers, hand out stickers or sunglasses to kids, and be his authentic self is what really made our company into what it is today. I loved hearing his stories of who he talked to during his routes. Some customers would bake him food, give him a cold pop on hot days, and even meet him outside just to say hi and chat for a bit. He met so many cool people, some I’ve never met before but feel like I have through the stories Shawn would share with me. I owe a huge thank you to all of our customers who helped make Shawn’s experience such a success and a good time; he truly loved all of his customers.

As I’m sure everyone is wondering…what will be done with Bin Blasters Antioch? Unfortunately, I don’t have an answer at this time. We will try to do what we can to continue the legacy, but we will need some time to process, grieve, and discuss what we will do. In the meantime, please pray for those that are going through this difficult time. I want to personally thank each and every one of you that has used our service, beeped at our truck, waved at us during the parades, and had the fortunate opportunity to have a conversation with my husband. All of you are a part of what brought Shawn joy and appreciation for the service he was providing. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you!

Bin Blasters Antioch had a Great time in Utah meeting the rest of the bin blaster family! When Shawn and I were discussing getting into the business we went through a lot of pros and cons of franchising. 2 years into it and we can say it was a great choice. We are not just part of a business but a part of the family. So many Wonderful people and fun times were had at the end of summer party. THANKS Casey and Amber!
