A few reminders on National Coaches Day...
💙 Take the scary steps. Tell fear to go take a hike and remind those fears that your God is BIGGER.
💙 Be the person someone else may need to lean on. Be their encourager, be their lighthouse not their lifeboat. Eric and Debbie practice this extremely well.
💙 For the love of Pete, HIRE A DANG COACH already!
I promise you, it IS the answer! Well that, and let God lead. 😉
Because wow... without God placing these 3 in my life, I am convinced I would not be where I am today and this business would not be what it is today.
3 1/2 years ago I joined CBF, terrified and having no idea what I was getting myself into lol. I certainly never dreamed this business would become what it has!
💕My biggest coach and cheerleader has always been my husband, Bob. He has gently pushed, encouraged and supported every decision, trip and adventure. He has been there for all the celebrations, the tears, the swearing lol, the contemplating, the “what the heck am I doing?” moments... all of it.
And then there’s Eric Emms and Debbie Emms
In my experience, there are very few people who truly make an impact on your life and leave an impression on your heart. When I saw these two and heard Debbie Sardone talk about them, I knew I HAD to talk to them. It didn't matter how big of a mess I thought me and my business were or how scared and intimidated I was.
So I forced myself... and Bob LMAO... to go ask Debbie and Eric if they had a few minutes to chat with me. We grabbed a little café table quick and you guys, they genuinely saw me. They believed in me. And they set the stage way back then for so much of what was to come.
Because I took that first scared step and talked to people I thought were way bigger and better than me, I now have Debbie — a friend I can pray with and for, a dance partner at the events, someone who loves fitness and that I get to Ride for a Reason with... oh, and someone who makes me look good in photos haha!
And the BEST coach ever, Eric.
Now this one took some time y'all (I can saw ya'll because I've been to TX 3 times and now I own a cowgirl hat lol)... A LOT of time lol. Because, well, you've all seen him on stage, right?! Eric is intimidating, right?! 😂
No, not really. I just had to get out of my own way and be vulnerable enough to let him in and let God do what God does best.
I am forever thankful and honestly brought to tears when I think about what these 3 have done for me over the last 3+ years. There are people who come into your life and there are people who truly change it... and God knew exactly what He was doing when He put these 3 in mine.
My heart is filled and we're gonna keep going wherever God takes us!
Happy National Coaches Day to Coach Eric, Coach Debbie and my hubby Bob. I love you guys.
Now let's keep going. 💜💛💜
