Our Story
Admiral Cleaners is the grateful recipient of 2018 Maryland Family-Owned Small Business of the Year and a proud member of the Maryland Green Registry. After 85 years of providing convenience and superior drycleaning quality and customer service, we at Admiral Cleaners are still pursuing the best for our customers. Today, we follow that tradition by using the latest technologies and innovations available.
In the Beginning The year was 1932 when Grandpa opened his drycleaning business in the heart of Silver Spring, MD. As was customary for those times, Grandpa began the Admiral legacy by picking up and delivering orders directly from the homes of his customers. In 1972, our corporate headquarters moved to Taylor Avenue in Annapolis and is there to this day. Although our legacy is rooted in family tradition, that never stopped us from discovering new innovations to improve the experiences of our customers and to make dry cleaning more convenient.
Admiral Cleaners Today As a family business in our third-generation of ownership, we understand the pace of life and the importance of meeting the needs of our customers. We continue to evolve our business across Anne Arundel County and the Eastern Shore, with 7 and 4 free pick-up and delivery routes. We have drive-thrus and VIP Express service. We’ve recently added the convenience of our mobile app.
