10 YEARS OF CAROLINA TRASH & SEPTIC! 🎉🚛

A decade ago in 2016, we started out with a single vision: to provide our neighbors in North Carolina with dependable, honest, local waste and sanitation services. Today, we are officially celebrating our 10th anniversary!

From weekly trash pickups and septic pumpings to helping you clear out garages with roll-off dumpsters, we’ve grown in ways we never could have imagined. But through it all, our mission hasn’t changed—keeping our communities clean, healthy, and thriving.

The Mini Makers Market - NEW is almost here, and we can’t wait to see our young makers in action!

Come out and support vendors ages 6–16 as they show off their creativity and hard work. You’ll find everything from jewelry and baked goods to cotton candy, beeswax candles, crochet items, 3D printed toys, custom mugs, painted rocks, dog treats, keychains, flower crowns, and more.

We’re also excited that To Make A Child Smile will be set up doing a hot dog fundraiser to help support underprivileged children in our county. You’ll also be able to grab a treat from members Sunny Sips Lemonade and Fat Cat Homemade Ice Cream . All three will be set up in the Depot Parking Lot.

A big thank you to Paradise Fun Events for providing the inflatables and to Carolina Trash and Septic for providing the porta johns.

It’s going to be a fun day in downtown Angier to shop local, support these young entrepreneurs, and enjoy time with the community.

Only vendors ages 6 - 16 are being accepted for this event. (Must be signed up by a parent or legal guardian) The $40 vendor fee is fully refundable as long as the child attends the event as a vendor.

🔥 WE NEED TO TALK ABOUT BATTERIES.

Last week, one of our trucks caught fire during a routine route. Thankfully, our driver is safe, but this could have been much worse.

The Danger:
When batteries—especially Lithium-Ion and rechargeable ones—are tossed in your household trash, they can be crushed by the truck’s compactor. This causes them to “thermal runaway,” sparking intense fires that are incredibly hard to put out amidst a load of dry trash.

The Rules:
❌ NO BATTERIES IN THE TRASH: Please do not put any batteries (AA, AAA, Lithium, or Rechargeable) in your bin.
❌ NO ELECTRONICS: If it has a battery inside it, it doesn’t belong in the trash truck.
✅ DISPOSE RESPONBLY: Take old batteries to dedicated drop-off locations (like Lowe’s, Home Depot, or local hazardous waste centers).

We love serving this community, and we want to make sure our team makes it home to their families every night. Please help us keep our trucks and our drivers safe!
