Growth isn’t saying yes to every opportunity that comes your way.

One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned in business is understanding the difference between demand and capacity.

Demand shows you the opportunity. Capacity determines what you can actually deliver at a high level.

Sometimes the best business decision you can make is saying no—protecting your team, your quality, your existing customers, and ultimately your reputation.

Know your capacity. Maximize it. Then build more of it.

Demand tells you how big your business could be. Capacity determines how big it should be today.

POV: It’s September in Kansas and the plants are officially holding on for dear life. 😂🌿

They’ve been through the heat, the wind, and everything else a Kansas summer can throw at them and somehow… they’re still looking pretty damn good.

Cooler temps are on the horizon, boys. Hang in there. 😂🤞🏼

🔥 Is your irrigation system keeping up with this Kansas heat?

With the extreme temperatures we’ve been seeing, your irrigation system needs more than just an “on” setting. Seasonal adjustments are critical to make sure every zone is watering efficiently, applying the right amount of water, and avoiding unnecessary stress on your lawn.

A few small changes now can help:
💧 Prevent heat stress and brown spots
🌱 Encourage deeper, healthier root growth
💰 Reduce water waste and high utility bills
⚙️ Catch broken heads, leaks, and coverage issues before they become expensive repairs

If you haven’t adjusted your system recently, now is the time.

📞 Give Flint Hills Lawn Care a call at 316-364-3913 to schedule a seasonal irrigation inspection and adjustment. We’ll make sure your system is ready to handle the rest of the summer.
