To avoid garbage disposal clogs, run cold water when you use the disposal, not hot. Hot water tends to soften food debris, increasing the odds that it will stick. Cold water tends to solidify food debris, making it easier for the disposal to chop it up and send it down the drain.

Before making any changes to your property be it, landscaping, adding a fence, building, etc, have a property survey done to know your boundaries. Most properties have setback limits from each side of the lot, making it much less expensive to make your improvements within the limits the first time around than having to redo them over, in the proper lines. Good surveys are an accurate record of your boundaries and will not change over time. Good fences, on good boundaries, from good surveys make good sense and neighbors.
