Thank you all so much for being patient with me these last few days — the past week has been a little… chaotic. 😅
Turns out a main sewer line break decided to bring bakery life to a screeching halt, which meant no running water, no working kitchen, and me temporarily closing up shop while the professionals figured out exactly what underground drama was unfolding.
Huge shoutout to Adirondack Septic Tank for coming in and getting things flowing again — literally. Thanks to them, we’re back on the straight and narrow for the moment.
Also, The City of Amsterdam DPW for helping pinpoint what the issue may be and getting me headed in the right direction.
That said, this saga isn’t quite over yet: I’ll have to close up again in the near future when an excavation crew comes in to replace some underground lines that apparently chose to not cooperate.
So if you’ve been thinking about placing an order, now is a great time to get it in before we break ground and my front yard turns into a construction zone. 🚧
Thanks again to everyone who checked in, offered help, and kept me laughing while my plumbing tried to ruin my week. Small business ownership really knows how to keep things interesting. 💕
