This rug came in dulled by years of soil. Here is what it looked like once it was cleaned through.
A rug like this — woven by hand, lived on for decades — needs more than a machine run over the top. It needs to be inspected first. The fiber gets identified, the dyes get tested, the condition gets documented. Then it gets dusted, washed through, and dried flat in a controlled environment.
Cleaning can lift the soil and wake the color back up. It cannot replace pile that has worn down over the years, and we will tell you that honestly before we start. No surprises.
If you have a rug you have been wondering about, bring it in.
