Had to make changes :

Last year wasn't a good year : not just for my health and loss of a family member, but also financially. I got a part time job last June to help make up the difference and that helped out for awhile, but as the year progressed I was hardly having any detail work. Since the beginning of last November I haven't had any detail work at all. Some of it had to do with my schedule now to.

I was contemplating of getting out of this work at times anyway, but thanks to how things are going I'm going to have to now. The only thing I will be doing with the business now is I have a contract with cleaning a business. I have an almost full time job now and 2 part time work, so I wont have the time now to detail vehicles.

I might return back to detailing later on, but as of right now it is done for now.

I would like to thank all the past customers. Especially my returning customers they get an extra thank you.😑

I mentioned awhile back that I started cleaning - janitorial a business and had to get my insurance tweaked for that and yes I have a tax Idea number. If there are any business's or anyone that knows a business needs a cleaner around town it would be appreciated.

Might consider changing the name of my business some.
Someone got me to start cleaning the offices and restrooms at the business they work at.
Might change it to G & L Detailing and office or maybe business cleaning. Not sure if I will or not yet.
Still thinking about it.

Choices and changes

Since February after my hernia surgery business has been gradually going down. Starting the first of April until the middle of this month it has been really bad. Thinking partly to do with the economy. This isn't the first time I have had a slump but it never lasted this long, this is about the 3rd time it's happened.

I made the choice of getting a part time job and the other times I did the same thing. Of course as like the other 2 times as always as soon as I get the jobs business picks back up. But unlike the last 2 times I don't plan on giving up the job. I'm tired of stressing out wondering when the next paycheck is going to be. There were a few times if I hadn't of had work I wouldn't be writing this right now.

That also means that doing this job some changes are going to have to happen. I'm going to have to have the vehicle longer cause I'm not going to be working 14 hour days.

I would like to thank all the customers of the past and definitely the returning ones I have every year.

Ever since I started this business 7 years ago.
On the billing sheets it says extra charges for extra labor.
Over 16 hours on a full detail extra charges
Over 8 hours on an interior extra charges.🙂🙂
