Keeping your dryer in top shape is the best way to keep it running efficiently and prevent it from turning into one big fire hazard. Keep the top of the dryer clear and wipe down the inside and outside of it. Discard any lint you find as you clean, and make sure to rinse the lint trap under warm, soapy water.

It’s summer! And you know what that means: sweat stains!

Soak the stained laundry in a bowl filled with vinegar and two cups warm water for at least 20 minutes before laying it flat. Use a mix 1/2 cup baking soda, 1 tablespoon salt and 1 tablespoon hydrogen peroxide until it forms a paste and coat the stains. Let it sit for another 20 minutes before tossing the item in with the laundry.
