Here is a gut check for ya. It’s really easy for us to focus on what we don’t like, bad things that happen to us, or problems we have. When we focus on a problem it only makes it bigger and seems to get worse. Often times the things we are mad about or upset about were once a prayer that God answered and He blessed us with. We have to learn to shift our focus and have a grateful heart for what we do have. When we do this we will have peace. As for me, I’ll be keeping my problems.
“And now, dear brothers and sisters, one final thing. Fix your thoughts on what is true, and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise. Keep putting into practice all you learned and received from me—everything you heard from me and saw me doing. Then the God of peace will be with you.”
Philippians 4:8-9 NLT
