It is with a sad heart that we must bid fairwell to the Lake Martin Community.

Critter Gitter will no longer be servicing the Lake Martin area. As a new chapter has opened we have made a move to the state of Mississippi!

Anybody can still reach out with questions, concerns, who to call, SNAKE ID, or DIY assistance!!

I will definitely miss the Lake Martin family but look forward to potentially return one day in the future!

But for now God Bless, stay healthy and enjoy life to the fullest!!

It's yellow butterfly season!! That means fall is so close to being here!! With dropping Temps on the horizon, critters are going to start looking for their winter homes! Don't let your home become their's! Having critters in your home might not seem like such an issue to some but the damage caused can reach into 5 figures in cost.

Feel free to call us today to set up an inspection to make sure your home is secured!!

Attention hunters and property owners!!!!!

Getting out to your property this year to start getting ready for the season and noticing a touch more water than last year? Culverts backed up? Perhaps your favorite bottom or pond seems to be missing a few more trees. Sounds like beavers have moved in! Nows the time to take them out before they cause more of an issue closer or during the season!!

Feel free to reach out for a free estimate on removal of these pesky critters from your hunting lease!

"In every walk in nature, one receives far more than he seeks." (Muir)

"This is not exercise, or hiking, or jogging. It is simply being in nature, connecting with it through our senses of sight, hearing, taste, smell and touch. Shinrin-yoku is like a bridge. By opening our senses, it bridges the gap between us and the natural world.

[E]ven a small amount of time in nature can have an impact on our health. A two-hour forest bath will help you to unplug from technology and slow down. It will bring you into the present moment and de-stress and relax you." Qing Li, Time

“Nobody's gonna know.”

“They're gonna know."

“How would they know?"

Know what? Many of us walk right past wildlife without even noticing. Look closely. Can you see a bird in this cottonwood tree?

This owl is probably watching your every move, (Okay, this owl is sleeping. Or it just has its eyes closed real tight because that automatically makes one disappear no matter where you are. We don’t make the rules.) but you wouldn't know it because their plumage is perfectly camouflaged. It’s astounding how well an owls’ feathers help them blend in with their surroundings, but that’s not all they do. Owls can puff themselves up or slim themselves down as needed to match various elements of their environment and avoid detection. Now you know. 🦉
