This Women in Construction Month, we are honored to celebrate Andrea Pope.

Andrea is the Co-owner of SERVPRO of Blount County alongside her husband, Max, and her story in the trades started long before she owned her own business. With parents who owned SERVPRO franchises for more than 40 years, Andrea grew up around the industry and gained a lifetime of experience that started right at the dinner table.

She graduated from Farragut High School, earned her Bachelor of Business Administration from Campbell University, and is Water Restoration certified through the IICRC. After working in the family SERVPRO business in sales and marketing while raising her two daughters, Andrea and Max achieved their dream of owning their own SERVPRO franchise in 2018.

Andrea says, “Sometimes it’s meant to be to end up where your roots began.”

Her advice to women considering a career in construction and the trades:
“Do the world a favor and go after it.”

Andrea and Max are also proud partners of Building Talent Foundation through https://hubs.la/Q047xG380, where they help connect future employees and skilled trades leaders to careers in the trades.

Join us in honoring Andrea Pope and the impact she continues to make in our industry.

As the cold weather sets in, this is still good advice from our friends Farm Bureau Insurance of Tennessee!

Tennessee winter weather can be unpredictable, but your preparedness doesn’t have to be. Before the ice and snow arrive, take steps to protect yourself, your family, and your property. Charge all electronic devices, let faucets drip to prevent frozen pipes, and check your emergency kits for essentials. ❄️
