This is a Dale Chavez saddle that got a color change. A lot of work prepping, stripping, lacquer off saddle and Silver....

This is a Dale Chavez saddle that got a color change. A lot of work prepping, stripping, lacquer off saddle and Silver. Hours. Silver was yellowed because of old lacquer. Washed saddle and rinsed, light condition. Leather was in great shape. Let it set for quite awhile until I had time to dye. Fiebings Black Pro dye. Two differrent coats and dry time between. Then new finish. Fiebings Tan Kote. More dry time. Also removing any dye that got on silver. Finally today put fenders and stirrups on. Then put the conchos on that were cleaned and polished. More touch up. Now it can go home.
