Someone prank called our office asking if it was okay to eat a bed bug.

We expected Eric to be confused. Maybe a little concerned.

What we DIDN'T expect was a full survival lesson about being stranded in the jungles of Vietnam. 😭😂

We're still trying to figure out how we got from pest control to military survival training in under a minute.

We have so many questions. Eric, however, had answers. 💀

For the record, Unity Property and Pest recommends calling us to get rid of bed bugs. Not eating them. 🤣

🎬 ON THIS EPISODE OF: WHAT DID ERIC FIND?! 🔎🐛

Eric went out for a home inspection and ended up interrupting what looks like the annual boxelder bug family reunion. 😂

The funny part? Nobody called us about bugs. Eric was just doing his inspection, and these guys decided to make an appearance.

Boxelder bugs are pretty common this time of year. Once the weather starts cooling down, you'll often find them hanging out on the sunny sides of houses, soaking up the warmth and looking for places to spend the winter.

They're not known for damaging homes, but they sure know how to show up in numbers!
It's always interesting what turns up during a home inspection. You might be focused on the roof, foundation, or other big-ticket items, while a whole colony of uninvited guests is hanging out right in front of you. 😂

Just another day on the job for Eric!

🏠 Need a home inspection or help keeping pests out? Unity Property and Pest does both!

If you’re reaching for a hoodie, the stink bugs are reaching for your window frames.

Same idea, same timing. And plenty of them have already found their way in.

The good news? They’re harmless. The bad news? Once they’re in, they’re usually staying until spring. We wrote up why they show up every fall, how they get in, and what actually keeps them out.

Read it here: https://unitypropertyandpest.com/stink-bugs-ohio/

Seal it up before they move in.

This is exactly why routine pest inspections are so important for apartment buildings!

Major cockroach infestations like this often develop over time and can become costly problems for property managers.

At Unity Property & Pest, we offer quarterly, semiannual, and annual inspections to catch issues early and develop a plan before they get out of control.

Our job goes beyond eliminating pests. We keep property managers informed about sanitation concerns, maintenance issues, and property conditions that contribute to infestations.

Routine inspections protect your investment and keep residents safe. Drop a comment below if your properties are on a regular maintenance schedule.

We have some big plans for this little car!

Should we turn it into a giant mouse on wheels, complete with ears and a tail, or give it a sharp Unity Property & Pest wrap?

Either way, it might be the smallest pest control vehicle in Northeast Ohio! 🤣

What do you think? Team Mouse, Team Bug, or Team Unity?
