Swirls, holograms, and leftover haze from polishing all show up the second a car rolls outside, and on something the size of this SQ8 there’s a lot of panel catching that light. This one came out clean from every angle. Walk around it in the sun and nothing gets missed.

Clay and Polish on This Jaguar XJ

This Jaguar XJ came in with paint that had picked up contamination and light swirl marks over time, the kind that build up from regular washing and driving. We started with a full clay bar treatment to pull out everything bonded to the surface that washing alone could not touch. From there we moved into polishing, working through the defects to bring back clarity and depth in the paint. The finish came out smooth and even, with the kind of reflection that only shows up when the work is done right.

A car like this is meant to be driven, and this ZR1 clearly was. Months on the road leave bug residue and brake dust sitting on every surface, and the longer it sits, the harder it bonds. Paint protection film takes those hits so the paint underneath doesn't have to, but the film itself is a surface that needs looking after. Harsh chemicals or heavy scrubbing can haze or damage it, so the goal is always a thorough clean with a gentle hand. Regular maintenance washes keep buildup from getting this far and keep the film clear for longer.
