Today is a FULL construction-cleaning day for the Hayner Universal Cleaning crew! 💪✨

We’re back at the School, continuing to work our way through the classrooms and getting everything cleaned up after construction and ready for teachers and students. 🏫🧹

Post-construction cleaning is definitely a different kind of clean dust finds its way onto everything. Walls, cabinets, fixtures, surfaces… you name it. Today we’ll be tackling it room by room and making some serious progress!

Projects like this take a lot of teamwork, attention to detail, and good old-fashioned hard work, and I’m incredibly thankful for my crew and everything we’re accomplishing together.

It’s going to be a busy one, but we’re ready! 🖤💎

It’s been a little quiet over here… but definitely not behind the scenes. 💗

I realized it’s been over 60 days since I’ve posted, and so much has been happening with Hayner Universal Cleaning during that time.

We’ve been BUSY. 🧹✨

Our team has continued caring for our amazing residential and vacation rental clients throughout Northern Michigan, we’ve taken on new commercial work, and we’ve been working behind the scenes to continue growing and improving HUC.

And today is another pretty exciting day…

We’re kicking off a large post-construction cleaning project! 👷‍♀️🧹

Projects like this are a reminder of just how far this little business has come. What started many years ago as me cleaning homes has continued to grow into a company trusted with homes, vacation properties, commercial facilities, and now larger projects like this one.

There have been a LOT of long days, late nights, learning, growing, and figuring things out along the way but I’m incredibly grateful for every client who has trusted us, referred us, and helped Hayner Universal Cleaning continue to grow.

There are some more exciting things happening behind the scenes that I’ll be sharing soon. ❤️

For now… we have a whole lot of construction dust waiting for us. 😂💪

Memorial Weekend guests definitely kept us busy today. 😅🏡

Let’s just say… this turnover was not a light touch-up. 👀🧼

But no matter the condition, we show up, put in the work, and get these vacation rentals back to guest-ready condition before the next check-in. 💪✨

Holiday weekends are some of the toughest turnovers of the season, but seeing the final results always makes it worth it.

Memorial Weekend is one of the busiest times of year for vacation rentals — and when call-ins happen, the business owner steps in. 💪✨

We had a couple call-ins this weekend, so today I’m personally handling a vacation rental deep cleaning on my own to make sure this property is fully ready for incoming guests. 🧼🏡

That’s the reality of being a business owner sometimes. No excuses. No canceled jobs. Just showing up and getting it done because clients are counting on us. 🤍

These holiday turnovers are a lot of work, but I take a lot of pride in making sure every guest walks into a clean, fresh space for their weekend getaway. 🇺🇸✨

This winter was a hard one financially, and if I’m being honest, trying to play catch up this spring has been exhausting.

Behind every small business is a real person carrying stress, rising costs, long days, late nights, and the pressure of trying to keep everything afloat while still showing up professionally every single day.

This week alone has been nonstop field work, estimates, scheduling, payroll, supplies, and trying to keep momentum moving forward. Some days it feels defeating. But I’m still here. Still fighting. Still pushing forward.

Hayner Universal Cleaning was built through hard work, consistency, and determination and I refuse to let a difficult season define the future of what I’ve worked so hard to build.

To everyone else struggling quietly right now:
You are not alone. Keep going. One day, one job, one step at a time. ✨
