🚨 **Winter Storm Advisory – Pool Freeze Protection** 🚨
With a significant winter storm forecasted for next week and freezing temperatures expected, we strongly recommend that all pool owners **keep their pool equipment running 24/7** throughout the duration of the cold weather.
Continuous circulation helps prevent freezing, which can cause serious damage to pumps, filters, heaters, and plumbing. Freeze-related damage is costly and often avoidable with proper precautions.
**Please ensure:**
• Your pool pump is running continuously
• Freeze protection settings are enabled (if applicable)
• Power remains on to your equipment
• Exposed pipes are properly insulated
• **DO NOT wrap pool equipment with plastic, tarps, or other coverings** — this can trap heat and moisture and may create a **fire hazard**, especially with heaters and electrical components
Pool equipment is designed to operate outdoors and does **not** need to be covered to prevent freezing. Proper circulation is the most effective protection.
