Some pieces carry more than their age.
They carry a story.
These small handwoven wool Navajo rugs were passed down through our customer’s husband’s family. They’ve been kept through the years, and today they came to FiberFolk for a careful cleaning before beginning a new chapter.
Their journey will continue to New Mexico, where they’ll be thoughtfully transformed into a handmade bag — preserving the original weaving while giving these family pieces a new purpose.
There’s something special about being trusted with work like this.
To us, they may arrive as rugs to be cleaned. To the person who brings them through our door, they can represent a family, a place, a time, or a memory worth keeping.
That deserves more than simply putting them through a cleaning process. It deserves care, attention, and respect for what they are.
Some things aren’t meant to be replaced. They’re meant to be carried forward.
