Labor Day has its roots in the American labor movement of the late 1800s, when workers were pushing for better working conditions, fair treatment, and reasonable hours.

The first Labor Day celebration was held in New York City in 1882, and in 1894, Labor Day officially became a federal holiday honoring the contributions American workers have made to our country.

Today, we’re proud to recognize the hardworking men and women who keep our businesses running, our communities moving, and our country strong. 🇺🇸
