Well folks… this was a fun one. 💪
We got called out for a leak where the customer was losing about a foot of water overnight — definitely not a small issue.
We started with a full leak detection using our equipment, but nothing obvious showed up. That’s when we shifted into problem-solving mode and began working through a process of elimination. After narrowing things down, we suspected the return line on the water slide.
Here’s where it got interesting…
The only way to properly pressure test that line required removing the slide deflector — which would damage it. We reached out to the slide manufacturer, and initially, they told us the part wasn’t available.
But we didn’t stop there.
After some persistence and back-and-forth, we were able to get their engineering department involved — and they came through with the exact piece we needed.
Once it arrived, we pressure tested the line, pinpointed the leak, and made the repair. We then installed the new deflector and got everything back in working order.
